Empress Operating Parameters

The following table lists various Empress operating parameters. For practical purposes, sizes are limited by the availability of virtual memory on your system and allowable sizes of files and file systems on your disk, as well as the number of files and directories allowed on your system.

Size of Attribute (in bytes) : On most machines, this is the size of a 64-bit integer or about 2⁶⁴bytes.

Number of Keys/Sort : No Empress imposed limit.

Number of Indices/Table : No Empress imposed limit.
