Attendees at a LUG Japan 2000 meeting EMPRESS on BlueCat Linux E mpress Japan in conjunction with LynuxWorksTM, formerly Lynx Real-Time Systems, announced the immediate availability of the EMPRESS RDBMS on BlueCatTM Linux at the LynuxWorks Users Group Meeting in Japan (LUG Japan 2000).     Hundreds of representatives from companies all over the world converged to meet for LUG Japan 2000. Presentation topics included operating systems trends in the embedded market from LynuxWorks, Linux trends in Japan from Waseda University, and a feature on EMPRESS RDBMS for embedded systems from Empress Japan.     LynuxWorks also featured a presentation on its new operating system, BlueCat Linux.
