Empress Exhibits in San Francisco and Atlanta

Empress software recently exhibited at the American Meteorological Show (AMS) in Atlanta, GA which ran for three days starting January 29th. Part of the Empress exhibit was the Hughes weather depiction program written with Empress' RDBMS and AVS' visualization software. Because of Empress' high visibility in the weather arena, the show is always a place of high activity for Empress Software.

On Tuesday night Empress sponsored a hospitality suite. Njai Wong, Empress' Director of Product Development spoke with many of Empress' weather related customers and talked about upcoming products.

From Atlanta, the exhibit materials were packed and sent directly to Moscone center in San Francisco for the annual UniForum show which ran from the 14th to the 16th of February. The Empress booth was again the center of a high level of activity as customers from around the world entered to win a free copy of Personal Empress.

In addition, prospects and customers alike were able to see Empress' RDBMS not only in Empress' booth, but also in both Digital Equipment's and Triteal's booths. At the Digital booth, Empress demonstrated Empress for Linux, Empress for DEC UNIX and Empress Connectivity™.

At the Triteal booth attendees were able to see Empress' multimedia RDBMS as an application running under Triteals implementation of the Common Desktop Environment (CDE), called TED.
