Empress White Paper to Be Presented at Software & Client/Server World

A paper written by Ivor Ladd, Vice President of Technology for Empress Software, has been accepted for presentation during the Software & Client/Server World Conference. The conference and exhibition will take place April 11-12 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Ladd's paper, Database Management Systems of the Future, will be presented Friday, April 12 from 2:30 - 3:20 p.m. It will be part of the Managing & Developing Databases - Insider's Track.

The Database conference runs concurrently with several other specialized conferences during the Client/Server Application Packages Conference.

The paper will outline the expectations and demands of new technologies from database management system users. Attendees will walk away from the session with an understanding of how DBMS' will need to adapt to the security, remotivity and agility issues of the future.
